How to Find Your Face Shape with Hiface

Your face shape is important to find which styles will suit you. For men, there can be accessory models such as hair, beard and glasses according to your face shape, while for women, there can be accessory models such as hair, makeup and glasses.

Round, heart, oval or square. Every person’s face shape is different. The important thing is to optimize your look by using the style that suits your face shape.

What are Face Shapes?

Oval Face Shape

The length of the face is greater than the width of the cheekbones, and the width of the chin is also greater than the width of the forehead. The alignment of the cheekbones is generally the wide part of the face.

Square Face Shape

The width of the cheekbones, the width of the forehead and the width of the chin are on average close to each other in the shape of a square face. The folds of the chin are formed with much harder angles than a rounded appearance.

Heart Face Shape

The width of the cheekbones and chin is greater than the width of the forehead. Generally, the forehead and cheekbones are the widest part of the face. The chin is usually pointed in the shape of a heart face.

Round Face Shape

The cheekbones and the vertical length of the face are close to each other in the form of a round face. The width of the chin and forehead are equal. In general, the curves of the chin are more rounded than the square face shape.

Triangle Face Shape

The widest part of the face is the chin in the shape of a triangular face. The chin is narrower than the forehead and cheekbones.

How Can I Find My Face Shape?

Manuel Method

With tape measure to find your face shape;

1. Measure your forehead from its widest point to its length.

2. Measure cheekbones

3. Measure from each upper end of the chin to the lower end of the chin.

4. Measure the length of your face.

• For example, if the length of your face is approximately the same as its width, your face is likely round or square. A square face has a wider and more angled chin than a round face.

• If your face is longer than it is wide, your face may be oblong, oval or rectangular. Look at the forehead, cheekbones, and jawline measurements to determine which one it is.

• If your measurements are getting smaller and smaller from your forehead to your jawline, your face is either heart-shaped or oval. If your measurements are similar from top to bottom, your face can be oblong, square, or rectangular.

• If the face expands from the forehead to the chin line, it is triangular.
